This policy explains how Harriet & June handles your personal information when you visit our store, place an order or contact our customer care team.

Harriet & June is responsible for your personal information. Harriet & June is a brand of L. Selbach, the Netherlands.

The information needed to process your order must be provided for us to fulfill it.

answer your questions and help with returns;
meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations;
keep our store secure and prevent fraud;
understand and improve our website;

4. Shopify and other recipients

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes the information needed to run the store and its services.

Where needed, your information may also be shared with:

our payment providers;
our shipping and fulfillment partners;
our technical, customer care, analytics and advertising providers;
authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Advertising and your privacy choices

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which shares information such as the pages you view and the items you add to your cart with Meta, so we can measure our ads and show them to people who may be interested.

Depending on the state you live in, this may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. We also honor a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid opt-out.

6. Processing outside the United States

Some information needed to fulfill your order is shared with our fulfillment partners outside the United States. This can include your name, contact details, shipping address and the items you ordered. We only share what is needed to prepare and deliver your order.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations. Order, payment and invoice records are kept for the periods required by law. Information used for marketing is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

8. Cookies

Our store uses cookies that are needed for it to work. With your consent where required, it may also use cookies for analytics, personalization and advertising. You can accept, decline or change your choices in the cookie banner.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.

Payments are handled by specialized payment providers. Harriet & June never stores your full card details.
